It is no longer news that the Lagos State Governor, His Excellency, Babajide Sanwo Olu has ordered that all markets not selling essential commodities such as medical supplies, water, foodstuff amongst others should be closed so as to curtail the spread of Covid 19 (Corona Virus).
As a result of this there’s been traffic congestion on the Ikorodu road especially from Ojota.
Lagosians are seen in their multitudes in the mile 12 market buying food stuffs, probably to stock up their homes so as to quarantine-in without being beaten by hunger.

As of the the time of this report, Police officers are trying their possible best to make sure traffic on the mile 12- Ikorodu road is reduced.
While observing the traffic jam, most buyers, sellers, drivers, bus conductors, and commuters appears not to be really scared of the deadly virus because most of them are not seen with nose masks or hand sanitizers.
The road is filled with lots of people and cars but it appears that the BRT Lane is a saving grace for the people.
