OYOGist.com has learned that Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo is prepared to receive a huge pay cut to make his move permanent from the Chinese Super League outfit Shanghai Shenhua.
Shanghai Shenhua has already informed Manchester United the price to play for the striker if they are interested in his services, Ighalo has a £15m price tag on him and the Red Devils feel the Nigerian attacker worth the price following his exploits after eight games.
The former Watford striker is prepared for another pay cut after initially agreeing to a reduction in payment to secure a move to the Manchester United on the transfer deadline day.
Ighalo earns £240,000-a-week at Shanghai Shenhua and had to take an initial pay cut of 40% of his total earnings to see his dream move to Manchester United come true.
The former Udinese attacker is on £150,000-a-week on his loan deal, but he is ready to take a hit of £30,000 for an extended stay.
At this point, Ighalo, 30, is just focused on donning the Manchester United shirt and aim to fulfil his childhood dream of playing for Manchester United.
The former Super Eagles marksman has scored four goals in eight appearances for Manchester United and he shows no sign of slowing down.
