The police in Lagos have arrested one Yusuf Bello, who works as a commercial motorcycle rider in military uniforms.
Spokesperson for the command, Bala Elkana, said Bello operated around Alagbado area of Lagos with an unregistered motorcycle.
He said, “The suspect usually carried passengers from Apapa to Agege and even up to Ogun State.
“He was arrested and the motorcycle was impounded. Military camouflage and navy uniforms were recovered from him.
“The suspect was also in possession of fake military identity card.
“Investigation is ongoing to ascertain the source of the military uniforms and the link the suspect has with other criminal activities like traffic robbery.”
Elkana said the suspect will be charged to court upon the completion of investigation.
