British boxer, Tyson Fury has defeated American boxer, Deontay Wilder in the seventh round of the match, ending Wilder’s prior undefeated streak in Las Vegas on Saturday 22 February.
American boxer, Deontay Wilder suffered his first defeat in 44 matches after losing to British-Irish boxer, Tyson Fury in the World Boxing Council (WBC) Heavyweight Championship boxing match on Saturday 22nd, February 2020.
For Fury, he remains undefeated after 31 matches, having just one draw with Deontay from a match from December 2018.
Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder match that saw Fury defeat Wilder on Saturday held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Fury dominated the match from the beginning, with Wilder struggling to find his footing after getting distracted. Wilder was knocked down in the third round, and by the seventh round, his team and the referee deemed him unfit to continue the bout.
To celebrate his win, Tyson Fury burst into the song, “American Pie” after defeating American boxy, Deontay Wilder at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
