A fire outbreak has happened at the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) power station in Akinyemi, Ring Road, Ibadan. This fire incident occurred early in the morning on Wednesday, 5 February 2020.
The station the second biggest power station in the state besides the power plant at Secretariate, Premier Hotel, Agodi.
The fire continued to burn for hours as firefighters tackle the burning fire that has destroyed several plants and equipments.
