The top military head and the country’s most powerful General, the Quds military leader, Qasem Soleimani who was killed in a bomb blast on the 3rd of January 2020 is laid to rest.
Qasem Soleimani was bombed in an airstrike that was ordered by US president, Donald Trump – hitting the Iranian General and seven others in a convoy in Iraq.
Photos of the funeral procession, an event held in the public, have surfaced online where a mammoth crowd of mourners attended the funeral of the powerful military leader.
Many of those in attendance held on to pictures of Qasem Soleimani and demonstrated emotionally to the loss.
