The wife of Omoyele Sowore activist and publisher of Saharareporters.com, Opeyemi Sowore has addressed the media and the world on the continued detention and ill-treatment her husband suffers in the hands of the Department of State Services.
Opeyemi in her address said that she and her children cannot wait to have her husband and their father back home with them.
Sowore was arrested in Lagos on August 3, 2019, for several trumped-up charges including treason. He was granted bail by a Federal High Court on November 6, 2019, but was kept in the custody of the DSS and was released on December 5, only to be rearrested again in the court premises a day later.
