Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, popularly known as Adeboye and fondly called Daddy G.O by members of his teeming congregation on Monday 23 December 2019 stormed Ibadan for a special service tagged Fullness of Time.
The program was timed to coincide with the church’s annual Let’s Go A Fishing campaign, where members are encouraged to walk around their communities and shop for residents to become members of the church. The program also gives the church an opportunity to convert many to Christianity, through the “soul-winning campaign”.
Many of the residents of the ancient city stormed the Liberty Stadium in Ibadan to witness and participate in the Let’s Go A Fishing program, and some had the opportunity to have a closer glimpse of “Daddy G.O” in person.
We spoke to one of the members of the church, who simply wants to be addressed as Mummy Wahab, and she shared her experience of the program.
“I felt the presence of God, and this was an opportunity to worship God at the end of the year and win souls to Christ,” said Mummy Wahab, an Ibadan resident.
“We bless God for the harvest of souls in Ibadan,” read a post on the official Instagram page of Pastor Adeboye.
