According to reports, Evelyn Ngige, wife of the current Minister of Labour Chris Ngige, under the President Buhari-led administration has just approved as Permanent Secretary alongside eight others by President Muhammadu Buhari.
According to the report, the announcement concerning the President’s approval of the appointment of the Permanent Secretaries was made by Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, the Acting Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (Ag. HsCSF).
A ceremony to swear-in the appointed Permanent Secretaries held at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa prior to the weekly Federal Executive Council(FEC) meeting.
The names of the newly sworn-in Permanent secretaries are Dr. Evelyn Ngige from Delta, representing South-South; Hassan Musa from Borno; Olusola Idowu from Ogun; David Adejoh from Kogi to represent the North-Central.
Others are Umar Idris Tijani from Bauchi, representing North-East; Dr Sanni Gwarzo from Kano representing North-East; Engr. Nebolisa Anako from Kano representing South-East and Temitope Faseun from Ondo representing the South-West.
