Thai opposition political leader, Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit is facing a possible ban on his Future Forward Party. In view of this, the opposition leader has called for a peaceful anti-establishment rally.
The call for the protest comes months after the military junta has come back to take power in the first election in eight years.
The people have joined the leader of the Future Forward Party to protest the corruption and unjust they perceive is going on under the current leadership of the military junta.
A protester, 27-year old Nithiwadee who held a placard calling for the amendment of the constitution said, “I don’t think we have a real democracy. This party has the bravery to say what others do not say.
The Future Forward Party has so far succeeded in rallying the masses behind its cause.
