Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has just announced that the first class traditional ruler of Ibadan, the Olubadan of Ibadan just conferred on him a traditional title.
The governor received the title at the governed house in Agodi on Saturday 14 December 2019. The event was a reception held to honor the governor by the Ibadan Progressive Union.
The governor was also honored with the title of Distinguished Member of Ibadan Progressive Union.
The governor also shared that his father also belonged to the union. He said “As you may know, my father also belonged to this club. I deeply humbled by these honors and the affirmation and confidence reposed in me”
