Nigerian-British heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua, is to meet Mexican heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz in a rematch today.
Andy Ruiz knocked down Anthony Joshua in Madison Square Garden in New York on the 1st of June 2019, denting Joshua’s undefeated winning record. Joshua lost his IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight titles as he was knocked down four times in a seven-round stoppage.
The defeat was one of the biggest shock-upsets in boxing’s history.
Joshua and Andy Ruiz will hold a rematch on Saturday the 7th of December 2019 in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia.
