President Muhammadu Buhari flags off construction of Nigeria’s first university dedicated to transportation.
The university, cited in Daura, will train Nigerians on the rudiments of transportation, the infrastructure that supports it and the business that relies on it.
The President today, in the company of the Transportation Minister, Hon Rotimi Amaechi, and the Governor of Katsina(Aminu Bello Masari) and Kano (Abdullahi Umar Ganduje) held the groundbreaking ceremony today, December 2nd, 2019.
The president thanked Investors, CCECC (the Chinese company handling the construction of the University and the railway infrastructure in the country), the Katsina State Government for providing the land on time and the Ministry of Transportation for pioneering the effort.
The president assured all that more of such partnerships will be pursued and would bring development to the country.
