Oyogist.com has learned that the Lagos State Government has approved 183 centres for the administration of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.

The state Ministry of Health gave a breakdown of the centers in a statement on Tuesday.

According to the Ministry, interested persons are expected to pre-register via the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) website.

“Citizens, 18 years and above, who have not received any COVID vaccine may proceed to register or enroll for the Moderna vaccine via the NPHCDA E-Registration portal: https://nphcda.vaccination.gov.ng/,” the statement read.

“Successful enrollees should then proceed to any of the 183 vaccination sites picked at the point of registration at the time scheduled to get the first dose of vaccine,” it added.

Lagos had received an allocation of 299,992 doses of the Moderna vaccines on August 18, for the second phase of the national vaccination campaign.

The rollout of the second batch of vaccines across the country is expected to commence today.
