According to report reaching oyogist.com, Oyo state residents has accused Auxiliary of allegedly leading thugs to loot and kill innicent people at iwo road area of Ibadan.
In a report gathered by oyogist.com, the residents also allege that Police and Amotekun operatives were on stand-by when the loot was happening.
A twitter user named @iamKennyBabs who resides in ibadan narrated the story of what happened via his handle;
His tweets read: “Dear @seyiamakinde, the mayhem at Ìwo road today is a direct result of your romance with thugs and touts in the state. I make bold to say they dare not try this during the tenure of your immediate predecessor. They became so emboldened because they believe they are closer to the government. Expressions like “ejò Seyi ni”, “ṣé bí Seyi Makinde lo fún wọn lagbara”, ẹ wo nkan ti Seyi dá silẹ” etc.”
“At least one has been confirmed dead while many are injured and properties and means of livelihood destroyed. The activities of union members has been so annoying and irritating. Today, Top Success was a victim of their rascality and high-handedness.
“That Auxiliary, who was not on ground when the issue started but was later informed, could not control his boys, joined & shamelessly led the destruction of properties and was caught on video chasing someone with a cutlass is enough reason to hold him responsible for the death of Ramon and every other victim.
“If truly, you want to make a difference, you will yank off Auxiliary and your romance with every other lawless individual whose association has brought nothing but pains to the people who loved and voted for you. The late Ajimobi was able to tame every one of them including Auxiliary who is now causing mayhem and unrest in Ibadan. If your government fails to tame him and his lots, you will have yourself to blame.”
