Americans have come hard on Texas Republican senator, Ted Cruz after photos of him boarding a flight to Cancun, Mexico surfaced online amidst days of power failure and water shortage that has killed several in his State.
For more than 3 days, power have been cut for millions of Texas residents as icy weather freeze up pipelines that supply gas to power plants, making it impossible for heating and water to reach people.
OYOGist.com recalls a viral video shared by ABC reporter, Erica Simon showing several Americans in Texas queue for water with buckets and water dispenser cans.
However millions of Americans were outraged when photos showed the Senator representing Texas, Ted Cruz, aboard a flight to Cancun city of Mexico to holiday with his family as Texas suffers.
“Guess which US Senator from Texas flew to Cancun while the state was freezing to death and having to boil water?” Gene Wu, a Texas Rep captioned a photo of Ted Cruz aboard a flight with his family that has caused outrage.
