President Biden to hold candlelight ceremony for #COVID-19 Victims today

According to reports reaching Oyogist.com, the United States President, Joe Biden has ordered for a candlelight ceremony to be held today on behalf of the lives lost to the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19).

There would also be a moment of silence after the ceremony as the Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband,would be present, a statement from the White House confirms.

“The President, the First Lady, the Vice President, and the Second Gentleman will hold a moment of silence and candle lighting ceremony at sundown in the South Portico,” a statement by the White House, said.

Latest report shows that more than 28.1 million coronavirus cases has been confirmed in the US, as over 498,800 has died.
