The Lagos State Government has announced that the Third Mainland bridge is finally open to the public.

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu announced on Twitter earlier today that the bridge is now fully open and can now be accessed by all.

Urging all Lagosians to adhere to traffic laws, the Governor thanked the public for their patience during the time the bridge was shut off due to maintenance.

“Dear Lagosians, The Third Mainland Bridge maintenance and rehabilitation is completed, and is now fully accessible to all,” Governor Sanwo-Olu tweeted today.

“Thank you for your patience and kind understanding during the period of its closure.
