According to reports making the rounds, United States 48th Vice President, Mike Pence has told President Donald Trump that he doesn’t have powers to overturn the 2020 election results, OYOGist.com reports.

Donald Trump has continued to make last-minute efforts to overturn Joe Biden’s win in the 2020 elections after the electoral college has certified Joe the winner of the elections.

A recent attempt was a 60-minute long call with a Georgia elections officer, where Trump repeatedly allegedly pressured the officer to find him enough votes to overturn his defeat in the state.

While Vice President Mike Pence has not openly refused President Trump’s request to overturn the election certification that is expected to take place on the 6th of December, those close to him claim he has told the president he lacks the powers to do so.
