Sen. Ndume Commends Police Over Maina’s Extradition

According to report reaching oyogist.com, the Senator representing Borno South, Sen. Ali Ndume has commended the Nigerian police and other relevant security agencies for the successful extradition of the former chairman of the Pension Reform Task Force Team, Abdulrasheed Maina.

Senator Ndume happiness over the commitment of the Nigerian Police in bringing sanity to the issue as he stated that the development shows that the Nigerian Police is a force to reckon with.

“This has shown that the NPF is not a write off. They are professionals under the able leadership of the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu.”

“With the successful arrest, extradition and subsequent remand of Maina at the Kuje Correctional Centre, I will proceed to direct my legal team to begin the process of withdrawing my suretiship for Maina with immediate effect because his action has shown that he is not trustworthy.”

Maina who was extradited from Niger Republic through the help of INTERPOL has now been remanded in the Kuje prison till the end of his trial.
