According to report reaching oyogist.com, Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed his alleged kidnapping of Government Science Secondary School children in Kankara, Katsina state by suspected bandits.
This was made known in statement released by the President’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba, in Abuja.
He stated that the school should launch an audit of the number of students following the shooting that occurred within the school that led to lots of students fleeing the school arena.
“I strongly condemn the cowardly bandits’ attack on innocent children at the Science School, Kankara.
”Our prayers are with the families of the students, the school authorities and the injured.”
He also stated that the bandits enclave has been spotted by the military surveillance craft while also adding that efforts are currently being made to secure the freedom of the abducted school children.
