According to reports reaching oyogist.com, the Pakistan Government has legally approved a new anti-rape law seeking to chemically castrate convicted Rape offenders.
By so doing, all rape related cases in the country will be handled within four months, a statement from the president’s office read.
Also, there would also be a medico-legal examination of rape victims within six hours of the incident.
“Bringing a new and strict law was necessary in light of rising incidents of raping and killing of children in the country,” said Shad Begum, a prominent rights activist.
