According to reports reaching oyogist.com, a twitter user @chefrdv has narrated his ordeal with his Job Manager while he tried to explain the reason he arrived work late.

@chefrdv while sharing the photo of the chat he had with his Manager on his official Twitter handle, asked the manager to give him a day off from work.

The manager agreed to that but further warned him to always tell them “ahead of time” whenever he wishes to go for a break.

Oyogist.com learnt further that during the course of their conversation, the manager didn’t show empathy over the death of his employee relative.

Some twitter users shared their view on this, as some approved of the manager’s action, while stating that emphaty isn’t a must in life.

A twitter user @Biologicalwriter wrote;

“I’m sorry for your lost. I still don’t see what the manager did wrong. She didn’t berate you and it’s not in their job description to show empathy. I understand the pain of losing a loved one and I may have made the same choice, but I wouldn’t be mad at this response”.
