According to report reaching oyogist.com, the Northern Elders Forum has reportedly stated that they would no longer tolerate further assaults on its members in the southern Nigeria.
This was made known by the Chairman of the Northern Elders Forum (NEF), Prof. Ango Abdullahi, during a town hall meeting with the Rivers state Northern Community on Tuesday in Port Harcourt.
Prof. Ango Abdullahi noted that the NEF was in the state to commiserate with the northerners who were greatly affected by the recent #Endsars protest which rocked the country.
Also speaking at the event, Director of Publicity and Advocacy, Northern Elders Forum, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, noted that the protection of every citizen irreapective of their social differences is the key to peace and security of the entire country.
