According to report reaching oyogist.com, the Confederation of African Football (CAF), have reportedly fined Gabonese and Arsenal star, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, a sum of $10,000 dollars over his recent outburst on social media.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF), while reacting to the star player’s outburst, stated that the post made by Aubameyang had damaged his “honour and image” with the football governing association while also stating that the post was offensive and degrading.

Aubameyang had recently taken to social media to post how Gabon spent the night on an airport floor ahead of an African Cup of Nations qualifier match in late November, with the caption, “Nice job CAF, it’s as if we were back in the 1990s.”

“This will not demotivate us but people need to know and CAF need to take responsibility. It is 2020 and we want Africa to grow but this is not how we will get there,” he said.
