A Nigerian soldier deployed to Borno has given accounts of self-sabotage and conspiracy, particularly carried out by civilians that gives Boko Haram terrorists free rein in the embattled region.
OYOGist.com recalls that days ago, over 43 members of a farming clan in Zabarmari, Borno were killed by the dreaded terrorist group.
The “soldier” said the civilians were partly to blame for the unfortunate murder of the more than 43 farmers that were killed in Zabarmari.
An increasing rise in the level of insecurity in the Northeastern part of the country has given rise to anger in the country. Particularly towards the present administration of President Buhari whose tenure has been marred by rising poverty rate, double recession, and a spate of insecurity in the country.

The purported soldier narrated accounts of how villagers would give away information on soldiers’ hideout to Boko Haram members and help the terrorist group lay ambushes for soldiers.
