According to report reaching OYOGist.com, The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), UNICAL branch, Mr. John Edor, have reportedly debunked the various informations going round on the internet stating that the organization has ended its 8 months indefinite strike.

Mr. John Edor while reacting to the the report stated that the ASUU doesn’t have a twitter and that the news of the organization calling off the strike was false.

“As I talk to you now, ASUU does not have Twitter account, so I wonder where that sta—tement came from.”

“As far as I am concerned, quote me anywhere, it is fake news, untrue and very misleading , ” he said.

It should be noted that ASUU has been on strike for the past 8 months in protest against the federal government IPPIS payment system and all efforts to reconcile the both parties have been proven abortive.
