Unknown gunmen killed sister of a commissioner in Oyo state

Unknown gunmen have killed the sister of the Commissioner for Local Government and tribal leaders Matters in Oyo, Mrs Funmilayo Orisadeyi

Victims, Isaac Orisadeyi Adedoku, reportedly shot dead on Nihort-Idi-Isin, Ibadan.

Confirming the story, the Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Olugbemiga Fadeyi, said the suspect, identified as Joseph, had been arrested.

He added that the remains of the victims have been deposited at the morgue Adeoyo Hospital, Ibadan.

He said: “I Achieve Information indicates that nothing was taken from the victim, we are still investigating it and the secret behind it will break down as soon as the police get to the root of this problem.”

Commissioner for Local Government and tribal leaders Matters in Oyo State, Mrs. Funmilayo Orisadeyi said two hospitals did not recognize the victim.

Further information revealed that the deceased came from the office at around 8 pm on a Tuesday night when some armed men trying to claim the bikes from the owners.

While attackers refused, they shot dead at close range.

In the same situation, a young man identified as Adoja Tanaku reportedly beheaded during arguments in Bakatare Ibadan area very close to Ogun State.
