According to Reports reaching Oyogist.com, the Uganda Capital, Kampala is currently in a state of hullabaloo, after police officials took hold of Bobi Wine a musician and opposition politician who is seeking the presidency in next year’s election.

Bibi wine’s supporters took to the streets to protest over wine’s arrest, while the police tried dispersing them by firing tear gas and rubber bullets.

Oyogist.com further learnt that Kampala’s Metropolitan police spokesman Patrick Onyango said they would soon issue a statement.

“We have not been allowed to see him and we don’t know what is happening,” asserted Joel Ssenyonyi, the spokesman for Wine’s political party the National Unity Platform.
