Wike Declares Stanley Mgbere Wanted For Leading IPOB Activities In Rivers State, Places N50M Ransom

OYOGist.com has learned that the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike have raised concern on the unending destructive activities of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra in Rivers State. The governor stated this in a state wide broadcast.

Wike said despite the fact that Federal High Court have classified the IPOB as a terrorist group since September 2017, they have continues to operate in some parts of Rivers State, most especially, according to him, in the Oyigbo area and some other parts of Port Harcourt.

Rivers State Governor describes their activities as illegal and reiterate that they are causing violence and destruction of lives and properties in the state.

He also linked the violence and destruction that happened in Oyigbo on Tuesday 21st of October, 2020 to the activities of IPOB in the area.

Wike said that the IPOB members continues their destructive activities in some other parts of Port Harcourt today. He mentioned Rumukwurushi, Iriebe and Oyigbo despite the curfew in the area.

Governor Wike noted that IPOB members are banned from now henceforth from existing in Rivers State and no form of procession or agitation by its member are allowed in Rivers State.

Wike hereby declared one Mr. Stanley Mgbere from Onne as wanted for leading the members of IPOB to cause violence and destruction of properties in Onne in Eleme Local Government area of Rivers State.

He also placed a N50,000,000 (Fifty Million Naira) ransom for anyone with useful information on how Stanley could be arrested.
