The immediate former president of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has urged the public that no Nigerian blood needs to be spilled in the course of the protest.

This is the first reaction from the former president since the start of the ENDSARS movement. He said this while posting on his official twitter account @GEJonathan that;

“No Nigerian blood needs to be spilled or life lost during a peaceful protest that seeks to advance our country. We may hold different views on national issues, but there is no doubt that most people desire the same thing for Nigeria:”

This has brought many funny comments from twitter users, telling the former president that he brought the nation to this mess because if he had rigged the 2015 election the country will not be like this.
