JUST IN: US Suspends Hushpuppi’s Trial

According to report reaching OYOGist.com, the United State Government has suspended the trial of Instagram Big Boy, Hushpuppi and his case moved to 2021 due to corona virus pandemic. This new update is contained in the chambers orders of a Judge known as Otis Wright who is on top of the case.

According to the court order, Hushpuppi’s trial will now resume by 9am on May 4, 2021.

The 37-year-old Nigerian, who is known for flaunting his lavish lifestyle on social media, was arrested in July in Dubai, by some special operatives including the Emerati police officers and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) operatives.

He is facing a four count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, money laundering conspiracies, International money laundering and engaging in monetary transactions in property derived from specified unlawful activity.

According to FBI’s investigation, Hushpuppi is alleged to be the leader of a mafia group that facilitates computer hacking, Business Email Compromise fraud.

His targeted victims are majorly in the United States and he has duped hundreds of millions of dollars from them.

As Hushpuppi’s trial is now suspended, he will still be under FBI’s custody till the exact date given.

Social media users who reacted to the news, are now saying that Hushpuppi like this has been forgotten by Nigerians and those he was trying so hard to impress on Instagram.
