Oyogist.com learnt that A certain teenager, named Saifullah, 17-year-old, was allegedly tortured to death by Police Operatives this Monday morning, as #ENDSARS protesters marched in their numbers for Protest.
Amnesty International Nigeria, revealed this via it Official twitter handle, @AmnestyNigeria, saying that Saifullah was allegedly tortured to death by Police in Kano.
Amnesty International said;
“Protest is currently going on in Kano around Kofar Mata area, following the death of Saifullah – a 17-year-old in police custody in the morning.
“The protest against police brutality erupted after it was learnt that Saifullah was allegedly tortured to death by the police. #EndSARS
“Protesters have barricaded the main Kofar Mata road and set tyres on fire chanting songs calling for an end to police brutality. #EndSARS”.
Although the Federal Government had promised to intervene in the inhumane ordeal constantly faced by youths in the country, none of their demands have been met till now.
