Canadian High Commission To Nigeria Speaks On ‘Nigerians Obtaining 10yrs E-Visa To Canada’

OYOGist.com has learned that the Canadian High Commission to Nigeria through their social media account have dispelled the information making the round on social media that the Prime Minister of Canada, Mr. Johnson Trudeau, has signed into law an E-Visa to interested Nigerians.

The false information came on the heels of recent happenings in Nigeria and the harsh economy which has subjected the citizens of country to seek for ways to leave the country, thus, which can also led many to become victims of fraud.

However, the High Commission while dispelling the false information, which alleged that Nigerians in some special professions are eligible to obtain a 10 year Canadian Electronic Visa (E-Visa) under the strict recommendation by Nigerian Embassy, described it as false and fraudulent.

Warning Nigerians to be careful not to fall victims of fraud, the Acting High Commission, Mr Paul Gibbard, in a twitter posts said “No one can guarantee you a job or a visa to Canada”.

“It is false news! Don’t be the victim of a scam. Shine your eyes well well o! If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. No one can guarantee you a job or a visa to Canada”, parts of the tweet read.

It further noted that the High Commission will never use a personal account or free email service while dealing with immigrates.
