Former Super Eagles of Nigeria and Lille Football club of France goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has been praised by a Brazilian footballer Tulio de Melo, as he called him a Phenomenon player with a magic hand, oyogist.com reports.

Brazil star Tulio de Melo who was a former teammate to Vincent Enyeama praised the former goalkeeper as he said he is one of the best Goalkeepers in the world.

The well-travelled de Melo has enjoyed a decent career spanning more than 15 years across several clubs in Brazil, Denmark, Italy, Spain, and France. But his most successful spell came at LOSC Lille of France where he won the league and cup double in 2011, an incredible feat inspired by a young Eden Hazard and iconic goalkeeper Mickael Landreau.

Former Super Eagles goalie Vincent Enyeama was signed by LOSC Lille from Hapoel Tel Aviv of Israel on a free transfer after an excellent performance for the club, and he was initially the second choice goalkeeper but immediately after his first season in France, Vincent Enyeama became the club’s first choice goalkeeper, and Enyeama’s first season with Lille marked Tulio de Melo’s last season for the club, but the goalkeeper’s excellent performance for the club that year makes him believe the goalkeeper is phenomenon.

Melo said he has never seen Vincent Enyeama feeling sad, and he has always been seen with a smiling face, and he’s no doubt, the Best goalie he has ever played with.

In a chat with L’Equipe, Tulio de Melo said; “He (Enyeama) was a phenomenon, I have never seen such a firm hand. You shot him a missile, he put his hand in the opposite direction, and the ball will cross half the field. Besides, he always had a smile. I never saw him get angry.”

During his playing time, Vincent Enyeama represented Nigeria Super Eagles in 101 matches, and he was part of the Super Eagles that won the 2013 Africa cup of Nations in South Africa under Late coach Stephen Keshi.

His excellent performance for LOSC Lille made him won 1 French Ligue 1 player of the month, 1 Africa footballer of the year in France known as Marc Vivien For award, and many other things.
