Roberto D’Aversa has reportedly joined Maurizio Sarri and Quique Setien on the list of sacked coaches in Europe this summer after being relieved of his duties by Italian side Parma, oyogist.com reports.

D’Aversa’s sack came after so much trouble in the squad as the club cited a lack of unity and enthusiasm for the reason he was dismissed.

The club released a statement on their website to announce D’Aversa’s sacking.

“Parma Calcio 1913 announce that Roberto D’Aversa has been relieved of his role of First Team Coach,” the club stated.

“This is a result of the fact that over the last few weeks, the cohesion, unity of intent, harmony and mutual enthusiasm which have been so key to the successes achieved together over the last few years have disappeared.

“However, nothing can erase the unforgettable achievements engraved into the Club’s history thanks to the Coach and his coaching team’s fundamental contribution, and the Club expresses its gratitude for everything over these past few years, wishing Roberto the best of luck for the next step in his career.”

He was known to be a very close pal with Inter Milan coach Antonio Conte. D’Aversa, Sarri, Setien are now part of managers seeking for jobs elsewhere this summer after being relieved of their duties.
