The World Health Organization (WHO) has praised South African over corona virus Vaccine. Tedros Ghebreyesus, the head of WHO says one of the active areas is to find a vaccine for the pandemic that is destroying lives of many people, worldwide, oyogist.com reports.
Scientists all over the world are having sleepless nights trying to find a vaccine for the virus.
The WHO has commented on South Africa for taking part and participating in the vaccine trial against corona virus.
South Africa is in the top five countries which have more infections of corona virus, with 482 000 confirmed cases And over 7800 related deaths.
Speaking at the South African-hosted virtual National Summit, Ghebreyesus said that one of the most worries is to get a properly working vaccine against the corona virus.
“Since the virus have beem around, more than 200 vaccine have been under development, and more than 20 of them are already in human trials. We commend and praise South Africa for participating in some of those human trials,” he said.
