The case of a Nigerian man murdered in the United Kingdom by the British police is being revisited after its close similarities to the murder of George Floyd in the United States, OYOGist.com reports.

Frank Ogboru, a citizen of Nigeria was on tour in the U.K when he had a disagreement with another resident. The police were then called to the flat in Woolwich, south east London around 10.30pm and attempted to arrest him.

Frank lost consciousness as police pinned him down on the street, like George Floyd was.

The death of George Floyd was a wake-up call for several countries in Europe emphasing the need to treat black people better- Black Lives Matter (BLM).

Frank Ogboru has been described by his wife, Christy, as a ‘loving and generous man”

“I want the police to tell me why my husband is dead. He was not a violent man, he was not a criminal.
