A 33-year-old woman, Summer Carver, living in California, United States has been accused of acting as a ‘pimp’ by police after evidence showed she let two men sexually abuse three of her children, OYOGist.com reports.
The woman has five children who has since been taken into care pending the outcome of investigations.
Joshua Chadwick, 39, and David Acuff, 38 were the two men who were arrested and charged with sexually abusing three children under the age of 10 in what the police has described as “an extended period of time.”
It is alleged that Chadwick’s access to the three young kids was provided by their own mother whose arrest was made July 13.
Carver has been charged with “three felony counts of making a child available for the purpose of allowing lewd and lascivious acts to be committed on the child, three felony counts of child endangerment, one felony count of lewd and lascivious acts with a child, and two felony counts of continuous sexual abuse of a child”, according to reports.
Her bail has been set at $825,000.
Police reports also had it that the mother, Summer Carver was present on at least one occasion when Joshua Chadwick molested one of the victim.
Detectives claimed they arrested Joshua Chadwick, after finding child abuse images on devices retrieve during a search of his home. Acuff was arrested after evidence that he was Chadwick’s accomplice.
Chadwick was arrested on eight counts of lewd and lascivious acts towards children, having been on a period of probation as a registered sex offender.
