According to report reaching OYOGist.com, the Nigerian House of Representatives has just uncovered a loan agreement which conceded Nigeria’s sovereignty to China. The $400 million loan for the Nigeria National Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Infrastructure Backbone Phase II Project which was signed in 2018 as part of the agreement has Nigeria conceding its sovereignty to China.

According to reports, the House of Representatives raised the alarm after uncovering the agreement and as such they have summoned the Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, Minister of Communication, Ali Isa Pantani; and Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Mrs. Zainab Ahmed to all appear before the house and give explanations on this loan and other loans amounting to $500 million.

This controversial loan was collected during the present President Buhari’s administration.

However, reports reaching us has it the Minister of Transport has warned that if the Federal House of Representatives should continue in their probing that the Chinese authorities may not sign the $5.3 billion Ibadan-Kano rail line loan.

This is really scary and if this loan agreement is true then Nigerians should ask questions.
