The London giants have been heavily linked with a move to sign the Germany international since the past months, but they now look ready to sign the Bayer Leverkusen star who has been in a stunning form for his side.

Chelsea are however planning a bid in the region of £62m to land the signature of the striker, who RB Leipzig valued in the region of £90m.

RB Leipzig who will not be playing the Champions League next season may decide to sell their prized asset in the upcoming transfer market, so as to be able to fund the necessity of the clubs, which has been downgraded due to finanacial implications of coronavirus pandemics.
