His excellency,Governor Bello Matawalle of zamafara state has taken a huge step in maintaining discipline and accountability in all Local Government Councils in the state,the Governor has approved the sacking of all 14 local government Chairman in zamafara state.
All the fourteen local government Chairmans are all APC members.The sack came after the state House of Assembly recommended it,the House had recommended it based on claims that the council chairmen were guilty of financial recklessness,incompetency and poor record-keeping.

The Governor approved the recommendation by the State House of Assembly and the Chairmans were sacked.The Governor has since then appointed caretaker chairmen to oversee the affairs of the councils.
He further urge the appointees to apply utmost discipline and accountability in their duties as they are still under probation according to the Governor the probation will be for a period of three months after which any of them who fails to perform as expected will be removed from office.
