FAAN releases flight resumption protocol for passengers as airports are set to reopen

Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has released Flight Resumption Protocol for Passengers as Airports set to reopen. FAAN has advised passengers to arrive three hours before their scheduled flights.

Nigeria airports were shut on March 23 by the FG in order to avoid further spreading of the virus. Covid19 PTF National coordinator, Sani Aliyu had said June 12 resumption date for domestic flights is tentative.

All passengers have been advised to maintain 6 feet distance from other travelers at all times last week.

They must wear mask before entering the airport. These safety protocol must be followed and observed all time.

Nigeria recorded first cases of coronavirus on 27 February 2020, when an Italian citizen in Lagos tested positive for the virus.

More so, the Country recorded the second case on 9 March 2020 in Ewekoro, Ogun state in which he had contact with the Italian citizen.
