Derek Chauvin’s murder charges have been raised to 2nd-degree murder

The murder charges filed against racist ex-police officer caught on camera placing his leg on the neck of unarmed black man, George Floyd, which led to his death, has now been raised to 2nd-degree murder.

Derek Chauvin and three other police officers were, on the 25th of May caught on camera while George Floyd was arrested and Derek pinned him to the floor by kneeling on his neck. This lasted for approximately 8 minutes and 40 seconds, killing the man as a result.

Protests over the murder of George Floyd soon erupted and the Derek Chauvin was arrested.

OYOGist.com recalls that on the 29th of May, dismissed officer, Derek Chauvin was arrested and charged with 3rd-degree murder for causing the death of George Floyd.

On Wednesday, 3rd of June, the other three officers involved in George Floyd’s murder were arrested and Derek Chauvin’s murder charge was increased to 2nd-degree murder.
