Security Guard Stabs 22 Year Old Man To Death For Failing To Use A Face Mask In Onitsha

According to report reaching OYOGist.com, catastrophe struck in Onitsha, Anambra state today Monday May 4 after a security guard, Ibuchi Nwoju, was reported to have stabbed a 22-year-elderly person, Cletus Chisom, to death for neglecting to utilize his face mask.

Reports revealed that, Chisom had a quarrel with the security watch at a market over face mask use before the watchman purportedly wounded him in his chest which led to his death on the spot.

The PPRO of the state police command, Haruna Mohammed, said the security man has been captured while the body of the victim has been deposited in the mortuary.

“Police operatives from Okpoko Division in Onitsha arrested a private security guard attached to Coca-Cola Market Onitsha, one Ibuchi Nwoju, ‘m’, aged 26 years of Asa village, Abia State, but resides in Onitsha Anambra State. Suspect allegedly had an altercation with one Cletus Chisom, ‘m’, aged 22 years of Ekekwe Street Awada, and stabbed him with a knife in his chest.”

Thus, the deceased got lifeless and was taken to Goodnews Hospital Onitsha where he was affirmed dead by a clinical doctor.

Mohammed said the state Commissioner of Police, Mr John Abang, has requested for investigation of the case that led to the death of the 22 years old man at the State CID Awka.
