Italy To Reopen Bars, Restaurants, Hairdressers And Beauticians As From May 18

What seems to be a gradual way of returning back to businesses is set to happen as Bars, restaurants, hairdressers and beauticians will reopen across the European Country, Italy, as from 18 May after several months of a total lockdown due the outbreak of the dreaded virus, coronavirus, which has claimed over 30,000 Italians, and more than 150,000 people have been effected.

According to report, Regional authorities was given the power to ease the lockdown on the businesses, which had originally been due to reopen from 1 June. Retailers, museums and libraries are also due to reopen from 18 May.

The move was disclosed by the government late last night, and that came after so much pressure from regional leaders to be allowed to establish their own reopening measure.

However, safety plan will need to be in place before the businesses can open, with restaurants required to set distances of four metres between diners.

Italy recorded 744 new cases of covid-19 in just on Monday according to the report. The lowest daily rise since 4 March. As at March Italy confirmed 179 deaths, and today, the death toll in Italy is 30,739.
