OYOGist.com has learned that former Spokesman to Ex President Goodluck Jonathan, Mr. Reno Omokiri has revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari’s government wrote to the United States to grant it permission to investigate if President Goodluck Jonathan had foreign accounts. Mr. Omokiri said this in an online interview with Nigerian Info tagged State Of The Nation.

According to Omokiri who served during the administration of Former President Goodluck Jonathan, the present government could not find any foreign account either in the United States, UK and other country linked to Jonathan.

Mr. Omokiri said that the APC government has refused to tell Nigerians the outcome of their investigation as they didn’t find any foreign account linked to Goodluck Jonathan.

Mr. Omokiri who was interviewed by Aghogho Oboh of Nigerian Info went further to say that huge the sum of money found in an apartment in Ikoyi, Lagos is yet to be explained by the current government.

He stated that if such happened under the administration of Goodluck Jonathan, the present government would have insisted that the owners of the money are revealed.
