Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases now 214 as 5 new confirmed cases are reported

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported that Nigeria’s confirmed Covid-19 cases have now hit 214 cases as of 10:15 PM Saturday, 4th of April, 2020, OYOGist.com reports.

The new five cases were reported in Bouch with 3 cases and 2 in Abuja, the FCT. The agency also confirmed that 25 cases have been discharged after making full recovery, while 4 have died.

OYOGist.com recalls that NCDC confirmed that there was an error in the report released on the 3rd of April, 2020. NCDC initially reported 26 new cases of coronavirus in Nigeria, however, there were 25 new cases as against the 26 earlier reported.

“The 26th case was a repeat result of a previously confirmed case and not a new case,” NCDC posted on Twitter.
