Ibadan Poly decontaminates students hostels

OYOGist.com has learned that as part of efforts aimed at checkmating the world rampaging pandemic, Coronavirus also known as COVID-19, the Authorities of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, has fumigated the residential facilities of the students at the institution.

The Students Hostels are: Olori Hall, Ramat Hall, Unity Hall and Orisun Hall. The fumigation exercise commenced on Saturday, 18th March and ended wednesday, 22nd March.

The institution’s Director of Works and Services, Engr. Stephen Ipadeola who supervised the fumigation said the intention of Professor Kazeem Adekunle ADEBIYI led management is to join forces with the state Governor to drive the COVID-19 pandemic out of the state.

He said whenever the students resumes, the intention of the management is to prepare an environment that is not only virus free, but also free of all forms of infectious diseases.
