COVID19: Nigeria records 16 new cases, now 254 confirmed cases and 6 deaths

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 16 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country, with the new cases coming from Lagos, Oyo, Delta, the FCT and Katsina, OYOGist.com has learned.

On Tuesday, the 7th of April, 2020, Lagos State recorded 10 new confirmed Covid-19 cases, Oyo State recorded 2 new cases with 2 new cases in the FCT while Delta and Katsina recorded 1 case each.

Today’s report brings the total confirmed cases in the country to 254, while 44 have been discharged.

The death count has now reached 6.

“Sixteen new cases of COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 10 in Lagos, 2 in the FCT, 2 in Oyo, 1 in Delta and 1 in Katsina As at 09:30 pm 7th April there are 254 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria,” NCDC shared.

“Fourty-four have been discharged with six deaths”
